Silvermine Matric class of 2021- results are out !

Please read below the letter received from Mandy Pistorius - Principal of Silvermine Academy. We are enormously proud to announce that the Silvermine Matric class of 2021 all passed their IEB NSC exams at the end of the year. These young people had a very difficult Grade 11 year where they had to find their way through lockdown and the scramble to learn online. There are 4 categories of passes in the National Senior Certificate: Bachelors Degree - admission to study for a bachelors degree, diploma or higher certificate. Diploma- admission to study for a diploma or higher certificate. Higher Certificate - admission to study for a higher certificate. Certificate - pass Grade 12. Silvermine Academy had 22 students in 2021 who wrote the exams. 18 achieved Bachelors Degree passes and 4 received Diploma passes. The Empowerment through Education students achieved: Bachelors Degree - Donica Telegram, Jason Steenkamp, Abigail de Klerk Diploma - Fiyah Pick, Philiso Nqanaba Thank you to the Empowerment Through Education Board for their vision and work in helping these children to receive an education.
