The ETE Fund aims to sponsor the complete education, Grade 1 through tertiary education, of initially five children each year from both Masakhane Creche in Masiphumelele and Green Curtains Pre-Primary School in Ocean View, both in Cape Town's South Peninsula.
Children from each pre-school who exhibit the most talent, determination and potential will be selected by the teachers and ETE Board with the approval, support and consent of all parents.
The ETE Fund will pay for and monitor the education of each child, with a small contribution from their parents and from the schools to ensure the buy-in and full commitment of all parties.
With 2 more Children for 2014, 1 in 2015 and 1 in 2017, we now have 21 Children in our program.

"Masekhane is about the community taking responsibility for their own upliftment and participating in the governing of their own lives... It is about empowering ourselves by creating good working relations between government structures, sponsors and communities for the benefit of everybody." Nelson Mandela, 14th October 1998
Mid Year Holidays..
Exams are over for the Sun Valley kids and Silvermine Academy finishes today. Fish Hoek will be finishing up at the end of the week, and that's all of them, mid year holidays are looming. The Grade 6's and 7's went to see the Sound of Music in Cape Town with the Music Academy and absolutely loved it.
