Sun Valley Primary School has an excellent Summer and Winter sports curriculum, and students must take part in at least one. Every day learners complete a 1km Walk-it circuit, specially designed to enhance fitness, co-ordination and build muscle.
After working with the prefects of 2016 and continuing their roles this year,The Grade 7’s of 2017 have been very impressive. The 48 Leaders in Training were selected after weeks of discussion and voting between senior staff members. What a difficult job it was to select 48 leaders who have shone out over the past 6 months.
The Fish Hoek Galley / ETE There and Back Challenge will take place on Saturday 1st April 2017 from 8 am. The Fish Hoek Beach Sailing Club - at the club house on main beach Fish Hoek - will once again host the THERE AND BACK CHALLENGE, formally the "Cape Point Challenge". This year the event has a new sponsor and will therefore be known as "The Fish Hoek Galley / ETE THERE AND BACK CHALLENGE.
Join Bayside on Fish Hoek Beach for St. Patrick's Day celebrations on Friday 17th March 2017. Raffles will be available for sale with prizes for the benefit of ETE. Book early on 021 782 3354 to avoid disappointment.
The ETE Team took visitors and benefactors from Switzerland for an interesting tour of Fish Hoek High School and Sun Valley Primary School where they met the children and saw the facilities.
The Grade 8's are registered and in their classes, the new year and journey has begun at Fish Hoek High. They started off with 2 fun days of orientation run by the newly elected SRC of 2017.
We are so proud and happy to report that all of our ETE children have passed and will move forward to their next Academic year. Our Grade 7's have completed their primary school careers, they go on to Fish Hoek High for the next exciting phase of their educational journey. We salute all of you, and celebrate with you, thank you to all the sponsors that helped make this possible.
